Ten episodes in, and the format keeps proving itself.
For Episode 10, Project Vibras brought the cameras to AIRE, one of Miami’s newest open-air music destination in Edgewater, occupying the address that spent six years as BOHO Miami before reopening this September under a team that includes Louis Puig, the founder of Club Space. The rebrand wasn’t cosmetic. AIRE was built around a deliberate musical identity: deep, rhythmic, and soulful house, with programming that puts the DJ at the center of the night. That made it a natural fit for what we do.
Behind the booth for this episode was Michel Attie, a Miami-based DJ and producer whose sound moves between deep, soulful house and the rising waves of Afro house and amapiano. His “Mizik Nanm” series (Haitian Creole for “music of the soul”) has grown across two volumes since 2017 and reflects the Haitian roots woven into his production style. In recent years he has leaned further into the Afro house scene that defines much of Miami’s underground, with projects like “Dance Ronaaa” and his “High on Amapiano” mixes, before stepping onto the international stage with “Ni Shavha,” a 2025 collaboration with South African artist Mavhungu released on Malanga Records. His set at AIRE moved exactly the way the space demanded: unhurried, intentional, and built to sustain rather than spike.
The outdoor environment gave our cameras something different to work with. AIRE’s layout, the repositioned booth, the night sky above the dance floor: it all added a layer of atmosphere that a traditional club interior rarely allows.
